Lindsay Lohan finally has a new hairstyle. The star was seen with a new celebrity hairstyle which is different from her older look. She has gone blonde while saying goodbye to her dark black hair.

Lindsay’s new hairstyle comes literally a day after being court ordered to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet. She was seen emerging from the Andy LeCompte Salon in Beverly Hills after spending almost 10 hours in the salon. It seems it took too much time to color her raven-colored hair to a much lighter blonde color.

The 23 year old actress stepped out of the West Hollywood salon debuting a slightly shorter ‘do. Her stylist must have used hair shears to snip her hair. The new look makes Lindsay look innocent, vibrant and youthful. It seems she has decided to start afresh and hence has made the transition to a more vibrant look.

Its strange that celebrity hairstyles take so much time. Lindsay Lohan spent over 10 hours in a salon dying her hair back blonde after she probably spent just as many hours to have it dyed dark.

Hair Shears are an important tool for stylists and barbers. Hair-cutting scissors are used everyday by stylists to give their clients a haircut. Therefore, it is very important that hairdressers use hair shears that are ergonomic and comfortable.

Since stylists use hair shears for most part of the day, it exerts pressure on their wrists and fingers. The repetitive movement and regular strain on hands causes Repetitive Strain Injury. Other hazards which can risk a hairstylist’s health are Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) and Occupational Overuse Syndrome (OOS).

Even if you have been in the hairdressing business for a short time, you might have experienced occasional pain in your wrists. This happens either due to holding hair-cutting scissors in the wrong position or due to usage of low quality hair shears. Therefore, investing in good quality hairdressing shears is one way to avoid Repetitive Strain Injury.

If you are a professional hairstylist or a cosmetology student, you should check out ScissorBoy hair shears. These are very comfortable and ergonomic shears. They are available in a full range of sizes – 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 & 7 inch.

Michelle Obama is sporting a new hairstyle. The new hairdo isn’t as elegant like what happened in July last year. However, the First lady surely has a new haircut which looks like an above-the-shoulder bob.

She was seen with a shorter, above-the-shoulder bob when she accompanied U.S. President Barack Obama to Wilmington, Del., to attend the funeral of Vice-President Joe Biden’s 92-year-old mother, Jean.

The latest hairstyle of Michelle Obama is creating quite a buzz–it’s a sleek, full-bodied and blunt-cut bob which might remind you of the 1920’s actress Louise Brooks. This happens to be her first hairstyle of 2010 and sources say that this is the first time she has publicly appeared with her hair down in more than two months.

The first lady had allowed her hair to grow longer last year. Since November, she wore it mostly in an updo, tucked under or pulled into a tight bun. Second week of 2010 saw a new Michelle Obama hairstyle in which she cut off at least five centimeters of her dark locks with professional hair shears.

Michelle Obama’s new hairdo could possibly mean a serious return of the bob. Her blunt-cut bob is a strange choice of hairstyle since it is not so popular these days. A few celebrities who are seen sporting a bob are Victoria Beckham, Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria and Gwyneth Paltrow.

I think the new Michelle Obama hairdo has got connection with two special occasions for the Obama’s. The first lady turned 46 on Sunday, and next Wednesday marks the couple’s first year as President and first lady of the United States.

Britney Spears has given her fans a gift for the New Year. She has changed her hair color back to Brunette. Brit had been showing off her trademark blonde locks for months until she got a new darker hair color.

The “Womanizer” singer was spotted with new hairdo at the posh Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. Britney Spears’s hairstyles have always made a transition from time to time.  The 28 year old singer had first showcased the dark color back in the summer but soon switched back to her natural blonde.

Brit tried to sneak into the hotel unnoticed, but unfortunately even with her new hairdo she was easily recognized. After all Britney Spears is popular for her celebrity hairstyles and one can recognize her in any style that she sports.

It’s interesting to note that Britney Spears has traded her flaxen tresses for a raven color during the end of the year. I hope she allowed her stylist to work on her hair with hair shears and color. Do you remember how she had gone crazy in 2007 when she headed to a salon and asked a stylist cut off all her hair? When the stylist refused, Brit grabbed the clippers and did it herself.

Britney Spears hair always makes headlines. She is one celebrity who never fears to try on different celebrity hairstyles. This star has notoriously sported everything from her signature baby blonde to a completely bald look.

Britney Spears is currently spending her time in conservator-ship, meaning she will remain under the watchful eye of her father. This is the reason why Brit changed her hair color since Brunette has always symbolized independence for this pop star.

We’ll see how long Brit remains Brunette as her summer hairdo was short-lived.

Popular sites like Yahoo!, US news and World Reports have inferred that cosmetology is one of the top jobs and education for cosmetology is a bright career option. Even the U.S. Department of Labor and the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences indicates that employment of cosmetologists and skin care specialists through 2010 is projected to grow between 20 and 30 percent.

So what makes cosmetology education such a hot career option? According to Jim Cox, Executive Director of the American Association of Cosmetology Schools “Its the popularity of makeover programming and a general interest in anti-aging.”

Also the availability of tutorials on the internet makes this a preferred career option. With a high speed internet connection anyone can have education for cosmetology in the comfort of their home. There is no specific requirements to find a job in this industry except that you should be creative and hard working.

One of the famous online cosmetology program is The Cutting Edge Hair Show.
