Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough are the winners of Dancing With the Stars 2010. The celebrity couple emerged victorious yesterday after beating the other two couples.

Dancing With the Stars is a show that pairs up celebrities to dance with professional ballroom dancers in a competition. DWTS 2010 came to an end when Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough were declared winners.

This week all the pairs had to perform Argentine Tango. The performance of the winners was exceptional as they displayed great dancing skills as well as an amazing chemistry. Nicole had been working hard on her dancing skills and that was evident from her performances every week. Yesterday she looked amazing in a cool hairstyle that may have been achieved with professional hair shears.

Though the competition was tough but Nicole and Derek were favorites to win DWTS 2010. The pair defeated other two pairs of Van Evan Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya, and Erin Andrews and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy who finished third.

Nicole and Derek also won the Mirror Ball trophy with a perfect scoring for their jive during their performance show on Dancing With the Stars 2010.

Kate Gosselin must be very unhappy as she could not win DWTS 2010. She had got a new celebrity hairstyle for this competition but she was eliminated in the early stages of the competition.

Reba McEntire will host for the 12th time, the 45TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 18 on the CBS Television Network. In January this year, Kate Gosselin revealed her long-hair look with the multiple extensions. It was reported that celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson, spent nearly 20 hours while meticulously adding hundreds of extensions to Kate Gosselin’s hair.

It was reported that Kate was not happy with her hair extensions and now she got rid of them for a TV show. The “Dancing with the Stars” season 10 contestant will participate in the reality series which begins on March 22 with dancing partner Tony Dovolani.

Her stylist Ted Gibson told RadarOnline that the short haircut is simply a transition style before Gosselin goes back to the extensions and brightens up her strands with a three-blend custom hair color.

“We’re actually doing three different shades of blonde, a caramel, a beige blond and a little bit of a lighter blonde,” he told RadarOnline. “The extensions will last through the whole time she’s on the show.”

Even if the latest Kate Gosselin hairstyle is temporary, it seems she is trying everything to win DWTS. She definitely has become quite a hair chameleon.
