On New Year’s eve, Kim had hosted a party at TAO nightclub in Las Vegas where she was accompanied by her mother Kris Jenner. She looked fresh with a fresh new hairstyle!

Interestingly, Kim had hinted that a change in her celebrity hairstyle was coming when she wrote on her Twitter account – “i wanna a new hairstyle for tonight! should i do bangs?” and then posted a picture with her new hairstyle.

The reality star had changed her looks several times last year. That provided us, especially loyal Kim fans a chance to get inspired from her celebrity hairstyle and try out that look.

Celebrity news, celebrity fashion and celebrity hairstyles are some things which attract a lot of people form both the genders. Its interesting to analyze why people so crazy about the lives of these famous people.

I bet one of the top reasons for women to copy celebrity hairstyles is ‘inspiration’. Watching their favorite stars with a unique hairdo inspires many people and some people even visit their favorite salons hoping to replicate that style.

Another reason could be some people are hard-core fanatics. That means, they’ll do everything that their idol or favorite celebrity does; be it changing their hairstyle or going for bungee jumping!

One of the popular reasons for copying celebrity hairstyles that we hear frequently is “It’s the new trend!” I remember how many women went crazy to copy Jennifer Aniston’s Friends hairstyle because it looked cool and very much trendy.

Sometimes I wonder whether it is affordable for everyone to keep changing their hairstyle to match that of their stars’. There’s nothing wrong in copying a celebrity hairstyle, but how long can you do that since celebrities are used to change their style within a few weeks. Can a majority of people afford to do that?

One notable example is that of Kate Gosselin hairstyles. Last year, she had stripped off her $7000 extensions for a new sixties inspired bob while she was participating in Dancing with the Stars reality show. Can we really afford to switch a hairdo that costs thousands of dollars within a fortnight?

Brooklyn Decker rocks with her tous...

Brooklyn Decker looked red hot when she walked the ESPY Awards 2011 Red Carpet with a new celebrity hairstyle. Interestingly, the 24-year-old supermodel and actress chose a Jay Ahr leather dress that was red in color!

Brooklyn, who was one of the presenters during the show, looked fresh and natural with her tousled hair and minimal makeup.

Here’s how celebrity hairstylist Charles Baker Strahan’s created Brooklyn’s celebrity hairstyle:

  • “With Brooklyn, we started on second-day hair, which is typically better with short hair as it prevents it from looking too mature.”
  • “Using hairspray, I grabbed random pieces of hair, twisted them and flat-ironed the twists. This creates a slightly rougher wave texture.”
  • “I then back combed the root of the hair at the crown to give volume and pinned it back to create structure and lift around the crown of the head.”
  • “Using a 1 1/4” curling iron, I created a wave with the shorter pieces around the face to give a feminine, yet tough look. I then finished off the overall look with a little bit of the hairspray!”


Brooklyn kept her makeup to a minimum, as she preferred to focus attention on her leather dress. But her celebrity hairstyle got much attention as well.
