Shear Genius Season 3 said good bye to Brian Buterbaugh this week. He was eliminated after failing to impress the judges with his style for the Elimination Challenge.

The Short Cut Challenge for Episode 7 of Shear Genius 3 was interesting. All the stylists were asked to do a formal hairstyle for 5 high school seniors that are getting ready for their last formals in high school. It seemed easy at first, but it had a hitch – all the models were African American girls. The guest judge was celebrity stylist Kimberly Kimble.

The judges appreciated Brian’s style for the Short Cut Challenge. They said it was a great finish, but guest judge Kimberly Kimble just didn’t think the pin curls were age-appropriate.

The Elimination Challenge required all the stylists to give new looks to the VIP guests of the guest judge, Estelle. The Grammy-winning singer wanted her guests to adopt the looks from the 1960’s and 1970’s for a party which was being hosted to listen to her new album – Freak.

The stylists were given 90 minutes before their looks were judged on the red carpet. The judges laid emphasis on creativity, technical skills, and how well the stylists interpreted the theme of the album into the hair.

Janine won the Elimination Challenge while Brian was sent home for overworking on the look and forgetting the hair. His model looked like Edie Sedgewick and the judges termed Brian’s look as a heroin addict who hasn’t gotten colored in eight months.

Brian has established himself as a stylist to some of the biggest names in television, film, and music including Bjork, Keri Russell, Matthew Fox, Hayden Panettiere and many more. After his elimination from Shear Genius Season 3, he will concentrate on setting up a production company that shoots fashion promotional videos.

Kate Gosselin hairstyles seems to change very rapidly. The reality TV star has striped off her $7,000 extensions for a quick new look. Kate now has a new short haircut as she prepares for her big debut on Dancing With The Stars.

The latest hairstyle of Kate Gosselin is a ’60s style bob. The new style is done by the same stylist who did her $7,000 long-hair extensions. Her hair appointment at Ted Gibson salon lasted for seven hours and

In January this year, Kate Gosselin revealed her long-hair look with the multiple extensions. It was reported that celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson, spent nearly 20 hours while meticulously adding hundreds of extensions to Kate Gosselin’s hair.

It was reported that Kate was not happy with her hair extensions and now she got rid of them for a TV show. The “Dancing with the Stars” season 10 contestant will participate in the reality series which begins on March 22 with dancing partner Tony Dovolani.

Her stylist Ted Gibson told RadarOnline that the short haircut is simply a transition style before Gosselin goes back to the extensions and brightens up her strands with a three-blend custom hair color.

“We’re actually doing three different shades of blonde, a caramel, a beige blond and a little bit of a lighter blonde,” he told RadarOnline. “The extensions will last through the whole time she’s on the show.”

Even if the latest Kate Gosselin hairstyle is temporary, it seems she is trying everything to win DWTS. She definitely has become quite a hair chameleon.

Sandra Bullock’s hairstyle at the 2010 Oscars was simple yet elegant. The Hollywood actress picked up the best actress Oscar for her role in “The Blind Side” and looked great in a celebrity hairstyle.

I loved Sandra Bullock’s long sleek, side-parted locks. Her down-do hairstyle at the 2010 Oscars had a perfectly smooth finish. Tucking front sections kept her face in the spotlight and her Oscar hairstyle looked sophisticated.

The best hairstyles at the Oscars this year were understated yet elegant. Updo’s dominated the Oscar hair amongst actresses during the 82nd Academy Awards. Many actresses such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristen Stewart all had their chic updo’s photographed on the red carpet of Oscars 2010.

Stars who didn’t opt for an updo went for the sleek straight hairstyle. Sandra Bullock’s Oscar hair belonged to this category. The Best Actress Oscar winner’s side part and blow out looked simple yet classic paired with her more elaborate Marchesa dress.

Frederic Fekkai hairstylist Adir Abergel created Sandra Bullock’s red carpet ‘do. After the makeover, she was in a league of her own with long, glossy, side-parted hair that rocked the 2010 Academy Awards. Everyone was left wondering, how, exactly, does hair even get that shiny?

The secret to Sandra Bullock’s Oscar hair was revealed by Abergel when he said that he wanted to “bring back simplicity.” He stressed on the importance of using the right shampoo and conditioner to achieve shiny hair.

Adir Abergel coated Bullock’s hair with Smooth Finish Serum. He then pulled all of Bullock’s hair over to one side and added a wave at the end. This style seemed to be a popular style at the Oscars this year, as Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet were seen sporting similar styles.

A haircut refers to a styling of head hair with the help of hair shears. It is done either to fashion the current style or attain a makeover. In any case, a haircut does make you look younger.

Ever since Susan Boyle’s Makeover, she has been looking younger than her actual age. Its surprising to see how a haircut helped her to alter her looks and appear younger and smarter.

Generally, a haircut is determined by many factors, such as the subject’s physical attributes and desired self-image or the stylist’s artistic instincts. Stylists use professional hair shears for hair cutting while considering the natural hair type and growth pattern, face and head shape, and overall body proportions.

The secret of looking five or ten years younger isn’t surgery or some beauty products. You just need a haircut to give yourself a new and younger look. Susan Boyle from Britain’s Got Talent had a makeover and everyone appreciated her new look.

So if you too want to add a bit more glamorous look to your personality, you should immediately visit a salon and have a consultation with the stylist.

Professional stylists will help you by suggesting the right kind of look for your age. By making use of professional hair shears, they will give you a completely new look which will boost your confidence and make you look youthful.
