So i would love to cut and style hair as a living but for now I’m in high school and since i cut my bangs and have trimmed my little sisters hair and am OBSESSED with styling my friends’ hair one of my close friend’s little sister wants me to cut her hair. i am a little nervous because it is so think and curly/wavy. Her hair is barely shoulder length but she has an adorable layered cut. She just wants me to trim it so its nice and healthy for school but i need some tips on how to do it. i also need a good professional pair of hair cutting scissors so if you could recommended a brand that would be great. and lastly I’ve only cut dry hair so how to do wet? is it easier?
Thanks in advance

I’m 14 and I need to trim/cut my hair. My layers are too long now and everything. I don’t have enough money to get a hair cut at a professionals, and my mom won’t bring me to those places where they cut for free. I don’t have any hair cutting scissors, just kitchen scissors and regular scissors. My friend cuts her hair with a regular shaving razor to cut her layers. Can I do that? Tips? Thanks.
P.s. My mom won’t pay for it and I don’t get money until December because I don’t get paid for chores.
I can’t have someone else do it for me, because I’m not allowed to have people over my house and my mom would be pissed if I came back with a haircut.
i wouldn’t advise cutting your own hair but if there’s no other option and you really need a hair cut because of it’s condition just don’t attempt to do anything too drastic and it should be fine.
