Well I’ve been experimenting with hair cutting. I bought professional thinning and cutting scissors.
I used to have really thick coarse hair but i thinned it all out.
I then cut layers into my hair and it looked really nice.
About a month later, the layers started growing and became really thick. It looks really ridiculous because the ends are thin and the layers are thick.
I want my hair to be thicker!
Should i just let the layers grow out?

Go to a professional salon. You have a very good explanation of your problem; explain it to them and ask them to thin out the layers on top, plus try to level out the ends. You can also try using a straightener, if you already don’t. It can flatten down the ends so your hair will look more sleek.
