I can't get to london to get my hair trimmed for another 3weeks. But noticing quiet a few split ends, nothing major but would prefer to cut them all out as im wanting to keep my hair in as best condition as possible.

Planning on buying a professional pair of hair scissors tomorrow. My hairdresser usually cuts my hair whilst its wet, wants the best technique?
1st Ans: If i don't cut it in a straight line, how do i cut it? At an angle would give me an odd shape wouldn't it??

What is the reason behind not cutting in a straight line?

I would just wet your hair and part it into sections. I would just cut enough to get the split ends off.
